Who Are We?
An experiential learning K-12 school program developed by the team of educationists, science communicators and astronomers.A unit of SPACE-India group, established in 2001.
We strive for bringing new things, ways to popularize science.
We empower students by “I do=I learn” concept and build curiosity.
Our aim is to bring astronomy programmes to as many people as possible. Note: Students are conducting Paridhi at Barapulla location.
Astronomy shouldn’t be just limited to urban centres but rural areas too. Thus, we brought Telescope on bike programme.
UITS- UNIVERSE IN THE SCHOOL
Over the past few years UITS has built a reputation in exploring the field of Astronomy as it go beyond the academic aspect and ensures the emotional and psychological nurturing of each child. With its innovative approach to teaching, students find themselves completely immersed in the STEM based sessions, surrounded by good faculty of educators. Space has given a platform to reflect a real world-environment and encourage students to explore their own creativity and passion in Space science & astronomy.
UITS is a unique model that popularizes Astronomy and Space Sciences through a L-STEM-A Curriculum based educational program. The program positions the school as a modern and futuristic institution, working to provide better education and knowledge to its students.
Machine Equipment Exploration and Scientific Skill Training
This program redefine Experiential Learning, Lively interactions, International Projects, Unravelling the sky and so on…
EBEL-Enquiry based Experiential Learning
Experiential Learning is the practice of learning through doing. It encourages the students to have first-hand experiences with the materials, rather than learning through someone’s elseexperiences in textbook or lecture.
Scientific Skill Training
Scientific Skills such as inquiry, problem-solving, thinking and learning are an integral part of a good science education. It helps teachers to integrate learning skills into teaching of scientific content.
International Collaborative Learning
This program provides students a platform to engage in various practical experiences and participate in various projects, competitions, events, and celebrations such as- AIASC, ISS EarthKAM, Project Paridhi etc.
Opportunity and Inspire through Interaction
The UITS Program gives an opportunity to the students to meet and communicate with renowned astronomers and astronauts around the world and visit various international space agencies like NASA, Euro Space Center, etc. through our tour programs.
The only astronomy based stem education & innovation company in India.
“The Universe is a laboratory available to all. We just need to open our minds and train our senses to observe its wonders and unravel its mysteries. I am sure that the Khagolshalas will open the window of opportunity for our students to be future Astronomers and Space Scientists in India.”

SPACE India, as an organisation has been doing commendable work in the schools. The quest for astronomical research and experiments conducted by their educators has seen a new dimension to learning in the school’s instructional space. We are pleased to be associated with them as our students have been enchanted by the learning of yet unexplored areas of the universe.
Wishing SPACE India new heights in their endeavors in the future.

To cater 21st century learners, it is imperative to offer an excellent curriculum which is a perfect blend of knowledge with skills. In an endeavour to provide holistic education, our collaboration with ‘SPACE’ renders an adequate platform to our young learners. The curriculum based ‘Universe in the School Program’ through lectures, seminars, workshops, outreach events, trips & projects provide a worthwhile exposure of Space Sciences to our students. It makes them scientifically literate and further ignites a spark of exploring the Universe. The efforts put in by the Space Educators are highly appreciable and our students are thoroughly enjoying all the activities.

Sri Venkateshwar International School would like to place on record its acknowledgement of the impact of the Space Programme immersion within the curriculum. Students look forward to understanding the mystery of space with enthusiasm.
Collaborative activities that develop team spirit and leadership qualities in children are the hallmark of Space.
Students have gone beyond the curriculum and examined issues related to Astronomy from the tender age of 5 years.
We found the confidence level of students soaring high and the programme has added a lot of joys to their growing years and learning at school.
